Read Colossians 3:5-6

The meaning of Jesus words that we are to “love our neighbor” comes to
life in an unusual way here in Colossians 3. Here at verse 5, Paul
tells us that to use or abuse another person comes as a result of not
loving them in obedience to the second greatest commandment. Here is
what the negative side of relationships looks like in this text; COL
3:5-6 “Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to
immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts
to idolatry.  For it is because of these things that the wrath of God
will come upon the sons of disobedience…”
