Read Colossians 1:15-20

Sometimes we think about Christ in very limited terms, never realizing that we are face to face with the Son of God.

The Lord Jesus is reduced in our modern theology to our Brother, our Friend, our Example or sometimes even less.

Here in Colossians 1:15-17 we come face to face with the Lord of Glory.

“For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all
creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for
Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”
