Read Ephesians 3:1-13

This particular part of the letter to the Ephesian region has to do with God’s revelation to mankind.

First off Paul explains that he is overtaken by Christ Jesus for certain reasons.

He is a prisoner of the Romans it is true; This is after all a prison epistle. To all outward indications a prisoner of Rome, but here he makes it very clear that he is in reality a prisoner of Christ Himself.

Notice as well that Paul refers to the Lord not in familiar terms but as “Christ Jesus”.

Made prisoner and given an assignment…a very specific assignment indeed.
