Read Colossians 4:3-6

Here in the 4th chapter of Colossians the second verse encourages us
to pray. The apostle Paul then asks the Colossian believers to pray
for him as well that he might be effective in his ministry among the
people with whom he came in contact. Interestingly, he then tells them
that they too have a responsibility to  be a faithful witness to their
acquaintances as well. There is some great information here about the
focus of our prayers and about the direction for our lives.
