Read 1 Thessalonians 5:16

We gather on special seasons to thank God for His care for us,
Thanksgiving is just such a season. His blessings in our daily lives
are often thought of in terms of what we perceive to be positive
things. A new job, a promotion, a renewed relationship, health,
financial security are things easily seen and appreciated. But what
happens to your spirit when the blessings God intends are seen by you
as terrible and trouble. Is it possible we need to re evaluate our
thinking, to adjust our attitudes toward Divine Providence?
King David found himself in just such a circumstance when his son
Absalom led a coup against his father…and almost succeeded in taking
away David’s throne. Davids response as he fled for his life into the
wilderness is found in Psalm 63.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us plainly “Rejoice always, pray without
ceasing, in everything give thanks…”

Perhaps you feel as though you are loosing your kingdom? You may find
encouragement in this message.
