Our 100th Anniversary – Isaiah 28:20

When the ‘Brethren Tent’ was set up at Milton and Bailey way back in 1914, Dr. L.S. Bauman preached from Isaiah 28:20. No doubt I would not have been asked to speak if Dr. Bauman were still with us, but he went to glory back in the early 50’s. I thought it might be appropriate to preach from that same passage on our Anniversary Sunday, now 100 years later. Let’s examine this thought provoking passage, which reads:

“The bed is too short on which to stretch out,
And the blanket is too small to wrap oneself in.”
