“Morsdag”, is the Swedish name for Mother’s Day.
We take our text from 2 Timothy where the Apostle Paul writes to a
young man making reference to his upbringing by both his grandmother
Lois and his mother Eunice. It was their strong personal witness to
Godliness and their appeal to Scripture that convinced Timothy in his
early years to follow the Lord.
It is equally important to mothers and grandmothers today to maintain
a close relationship to the Lord and a close obedience to the
Scriptures to be able to speak with authority to their children. Read
the Letter by Paul known as Second Timothy and see if you agree with
these important principles.
